The Indian women's cricket team is the national women's cricket team of India. Despite the photos on this page, their uniforms are similar to the men's team. The Indian women's cricket team played their first Test match in 1976/1977, when they drew with the West Indies in a six-match series. The Indian women's cricket team won their first Asia Cup in 2004. Subsequently, they won 3 more Asia Cups. The Indian women's cricket team reached the finals of 2005 World Cup, losing to eventual champions, Australia.[2] Mithali Raj is the current captain of the Indian Women's Cricket team
